Low-cost MiniZed Zynq SoC development board

Based on the new Xilinx Zynq Z-7007S device, the MiniZed Zynq SoC development board is available now through Avnet for $89 . The board provides a low-cost prototyping platform for single-core ARM Cortex-A9 developers.

MiniZed is a single core Zynq 7Z007S development board. This compact design enables onboard connectivity via USB, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Peripherals can be plugged into Pmod-compatible dual connectors, Arduino-compatible shield shields, or USB 2.0 host interfaces. The JTAG circuitry is integrated into the MiniZed base, so a micro USB cable is available for the laptop you are ready to boot up and run. A button and switch of the user LED allows the use of a physical board interface.

Provides a Micron memory solution for QSPI flash, DDR3L memory, and onboard eMMC instead of an external SD card. The Murata-type 1DX wireless solution integrates 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1, which provides Bluetooth Classic Low Energy (BLE). Dialog's integrated power supply generates all onboard voltages, while the auxiliary power input can be used to power designs that require additional current. From STMicro's point of view, there is an onboard motion and temperature sensor and a digital microphone.
