In addition, some insiders said that the light engine penetration rate is not high for the entire domestic lighting market.
Because the ordinary light engine can not fully meet the safety specifications and meet the electrical performance requirements, most enterprises use multi-section voltage distribution to control the cost, which results in the performance and price advantage of the light engine is not large.
Zhao Chunbo, director of Ming Microelectronics' market, also believes that from the current level of technology, the optoelectronic engine that encapsulates the IC onto the light source board has not reached a fully mature stage, and there is no real mass production, and even it is still in the early stage of marketization. But it is undeniable that the light engine will be a new development direction in the field of segmentation.
In fact, the light engine and CSP have similarities. Although the process is bumpy, the light engine will become a future trend.
