Guodian Power formulated the company's “Twelfth Five-Year” development plan in early December, and Guodian Power will select the best solar energy industry. By 2015, irrespective of China Guodian Corporation’s plan of focusing on the company, the company’s installed capacity will exceed 60 million kilowatts, of which thermal power accounts for 59% of installed capacity; wind power accounts for 22.38% of installed capacity; and hydropower accounts for installed capacity. 15.98%; Solar power stations account for 2.4% of the total installed capacity. Nuclear power has achieved 4 million kilowatts of capacity. By then, the proportion of new energy and renewable energy will account for 41% of the total installed capacity.

The objectives of the non-electric industry during the “12th Five-Year Plan” period include achieving a polysilicon capacity of 3,000 tons/year and a silicon wafer production capacity of 1350 MW/year.
