Ye Weifu: LED bulb price is expected to be $10 sweet spot in the second half of 2012

Taiwan Everbright Electronics participated in the 4th Next Generation Lighting Technology Show (Lighting Japan) for the first time, and exhibited LED lighting applications at plant factories.

Yiguang Chairman Ye Yufu pointed out that Yiguang entered the plant factory and used LED lighting technology to enter the niche market. It can raise plants and organisms, and is optimistic about the new LED applications with insufficient global food.

When it comes to the LED industry, Ye Haofu said that in the second half of the year, it is expected to improve. On the one hand, upstream LED chips, components and driving ICs have room for price cuts. In particular, LED bulbs will drop to 10 dollars, and price drops will inevitably lead to Sales of global LED bulbs are rising rapidly.

Ye Weifu believes that the decline in the retail price of LED bulbs will help to popularize. Yiguang plans to expand the Japanese market, and it is beneficial to open the market to participate in Japan.

In 2011, Yiguang's revenue was NT$16.237 billion, a slight decrease of 2.58% from 2010. Ye Haofu pointed out that Yiguang's 2012 revenue will grow compared to 2011.
