Air purifier exports continue to grow

According to the data provided by the industry research institution's industry online, the total amount of China purifiers exported from January to June 2013 was 3.918 million units, an increase of 8.7% year-on-year, and the cumulative export volume was 232 million US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 15.8%.

Gao Honghong, an industry online analyst, said in an interview with China National Grid that smog has been increasing since 2013, which has aggravated global people’s fear of air pollution.

Gao Honghong said that in the first half of this year, the Americas region was the region with the largest increase in exports of air purifiers in China, exceeding 19%; Asia followed closely, an increase of nearly 10%.

The air quality in the European region is generally good, at least not because of the London fog that caused thousands of deaths in 1952, but the EU Environment Agency said that Europeans still have invisible threats in the air of breathing.
