Porsche's first electric car 2020 mass production loyal to concept car design

According to the European "Car World" March 9 news, Porsche announced that its first pure electric car will be loyal to the Mission E concept car debut in the Frankfurt Motor Show last year, mass production began around 2020, codenamed J1, and based on new Platform design and development.

At the Geneva Motor Show held recently, Porsche CEO Oliver Blume said in an interview with the well-known car magazine Top Gear that the shape of the first electric car would be very similar to the concept car. When the reporter asked if the electric car would use the "suicide door (folio door)" shown in the concept car, Bloom said it was a problem, but the engineers would find a way to solve the problem.

The Porsche electric car will maintain the maximum cruising range of the Mission E concept car for 310 miles (500 km) and the Porsche turbocharged engine. Customers can therefore charge up to 80% in 15 minutes, ensuring mileage of 248 miles (400 kilometers), but Bloom acknowledges that 800V, 150kW fast charging will be limited.

Although the technical parameters of electric vehicles are still uncertain, the powertrain of the concept train Mission E comes from two electric motors and the output power can exceed 600 hp (440 kW). This high power ensures that the concept car accelerates to 62 mph in 3.5 seconds. / time (100 km / hour), therefore, the mass production of electric vehicle power system and power will also become a highlight.

It is said that Porsche's investment in its all-exclusive pure electric vehicle amounted to US$784 million (equivalent to RMB 5.1 billion), which will create more than 1,000 jobs for its Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen plant in Germany.
