(hereinafter referred to as 'Fudi Electronics') 'LED Epitaxial Film Industrialization' Project Review Meeting, Municipal SASAC, Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, The Municipal Economic and Trade Bureau, the Municipal Development and Reform Bureau and other functional departments and review expert groups attended the meeting.
The meeting mainly reviewed the feasibility of Fudi Electronics' "LED epitaxial wafer industrialization" project. After evaluation and demonstration, the expert group agreed that Fudi Electronics has a good industrial base and has great advantages in the research and development and production of LED epitaxial wafers. It is recommended that the Dongguan Municipal Government support the implementation of the project and implement it as soon as possible. The relevant leaders of the Dongguan Municipal Government stated that they will fully support Fudi Electronics' "LED epitaxial wafer industrialization" project. At present, the project has entered the implementation stage, and plans to purchase 30 MOCVD epitaxial furnaces.
At the review site, the participants heard a detailed introduction of the project leader, background, construction scale and product plan, team building, investment budget and funding sources, and economic and social benefit analysis. The evaluation experts agreed on the market risk, talent cultivation, patent matters, capital budget, benefit analysis, raw material procurement and sustainable development of the project. Fudi Electronics is the only state-owned company in Dongguan to manufacture LED chips. The company has many years of LED chip manufacturing experience, understands the technical characteristics of epitaxial wafers, is familiar with the industry characteristics of chip upstream manufacturing, and has a good industrial base and the ability to implement the "LED epitaxial wafer industrialization" project. It is recommended that the Dongguan Municipal Government should support the “LED Epitaxial Film Industrialization†project of Fortune Electronics and implement the implementation of the project as soon as possible.
The leaders of the relevant functional departments of the participating municipal government said that Fudi Electronics has considerable visibility in the LED industry. The “LED epitaxial wafer industrialization†project is in line with the relevant policies and industrial directions of the state, province and city to develop strategic emerging industries, and the government will fully support it. Fudi Electronics expands its market and enters into the R&D and production of LED epitaxial wafers. It is hoped that Fudi Electronics will establish an industry benchmark and become a leading enterprise in the industry, and then drive and improve the LED industry chain in Dongguan.
