Up to now, the application coverage of landscape lighting LED lamps has reached 73%, the coverage rate of T5 fluorescent lamps is about 24%, and the coverage of gas discharge lamps (high pressure sodium lamps, metal halide lamps) is about 3%.
In order to make landscape lighting run at the most reasonable time, reduce power consumption and reduce unnecessary electricity expenses. Hefei City Lighting Office installed 116 sets of GPRS centralized control terminals, and implemented centralized control of 42 bridges and 64 important buildings in the urban area. In 2011 alone, Hefei City reduced the street lamp power load by 5.02%, reduced the street lamp power consumption by about 464.14 million kWh, and reduced the landscape lighting energy consumption by about 1,302,200 kWh.
