Recently, China Electronics Technology Standardization Research Institute (CESI) released the "2013 Cross-Strait LED Flat Panel Lamp Test Comparison Analysis Report" (hereinafter referred to as the report), the report pointed out that through the comparison test, verified the "cross-strait LED flat panel lamps common standards" Applicability and practicability of key technical parameters in (GT 004-2012).

The comparison test items include input power, input current, power factor, aspect ratio, brightness limit of non-VDT operating environment, brightness uniformity, and spatial chromaticity inconsistency.

"Common Standards for Cross-Strait LED Flat Panel Lamps" is one of the important achievements in cross-strait information industry cooperation. It is a key step and major breakthrough in the cooperation of semiconductor lighting industry since the promotion of common standards across the Taiwan Strait. In order to verify the applicability and practicability of the standard and the consistency of the test data of the cross-strait testing laboratory, in the second half of 2013, the China Electronics Technology Standardization Institute organized the National Lighting Quality Supervision and Inspection Center and the China Saixi (Guangzhou) Laboratory. Seven laboratories, including the Taiwan Industrial Technology Research Institute and the Taiwan Great Power Research and Testing Center, have implemented the LED flat panel test capability comparison plan.

The report pointed out that through the participation of seven laboratories on both sides of the strait, the technical exchanges between laboratories were strengthened, the differences in test results were analyzed, the measurement differences between laboratories were reduced, and the laboratory's detection technology for semiconductor lighting was improved. Implement the implementation of GT 004-2012 "Common Standards for Cross-Strait LED Flat Panel Lamps" to enhance mutual trust and promote the exchange and development of cross-strait standard work.
