Australia Net recently reported that Australia is set to conduct clinical trials of virtual reality (VR) technology in early 2018, aiming to create immersive 3D environments for patients using VR headsets and specialized software. The goal is to help reduce patient suffering, particularly during painful procedures like changing bandages for burn victims.
