Runway edge lights:

The runway edge lights shall be placed along the two parallel lines equidistant from the runway centerline along the length of the runway, along the edge of the area declared to be used as the runway or at a distance no greater than 3 m from the edge. The longitudinal spacing of the luminaires should be as uniform as possible. If it is the instrument runway, the spacing of the lamps should be no more than 60 m. If it is a non-instrument runway, the spacing of the lamps should be no more than 100 m. The lights on both sides of the runway should correspond one-to-one to form a straight line perpendicular to the centerline of the runway.
