Flagship wireless gaming mouse: Logitech Logitech G900 dual mode gaming mouse experience evaluation

Actually, I’ve always been a fan of the Logitech G900 peripherals. Ever since the G900 was first announced, I paid attention to it. Initially, the price was quite high, nearly a thousand dollars, and I thought, well, a mouse is something you hold in your hand, so it's not urgent. Then, in June this year, Logitech announced that they would release their Powerplay wireless charging mousepad and the G903 and G703 wireless mice by the end of the year. The highlight was the black technology wireless charging feature. That news really caught my attention. I was actually debating whether or not to pick up the G900 during the 618 promotion when it dropped in price, but ultimately, I held off. Honestly, I still regret that decision, even though the G903 supports wireless charging, the Powerplay mousepad still requires a cord. Ultimately, the desk still ends up with wires. If I had gone ahead and bought the G900, I could have taken advantage of the recent promotions and discounts I got through hard work. Plus, I wanted to treat myself and maybe win some approval from the family leaders. Unfortunately, the prices on Tmall and JD are now too high, so I had no choice but to brave the heat and head to the local computer market. After negotiating with the salesperson, I managed to start at 720 yuan, which is still pretty good compared to the 618 promotional price of 699 yuan on JD. Enough gossip, let’s get to the review: Even though I bought this from a physical store, I’ll still leave a link here: Wikipedia Logitech G900 Wired Mouse/Wireless Mouse Dual Mode Gaming Mouse RGB Mouse 12000DPI+1680 Million Colors RGB Symphony for FPS Gamer Value 106 Comments 2 Original 0 Good 45 Buy Now View Details First, let’s talk about the specs: [Image] Out of the box: There’s a layer of plastic film on the hand box. I removed it to make it easier to take pictures, but the presence of this film kind of obscures the clarity of the box. [Image] The front of the box shows the appearance of the G900 and the CHAOS SPECTRUM model. [Image] On the back, the box highlights the G900’s performance, including its 1ms response speed, PMW3366 optical sensor, and L↔R left and right hand universal mode. [Image] At the bottom of the box, you’ll find international multilingual product information, specifications, warranty, and the SN code. [Image] The Logitech G900 uses a pull-out design. [Image] When you open the box, you’ll notice the irregular section design, which still feels pretty premium. The touch of blue around the box is that familiar blue. [Image] There’s a cool Logitech G character logo on the inside. [Image] The second level of the box contains the cable, accessories box, manual, and warranty card. [Image] Overall, it feels a bit simpler than some of Logitech’s flagship products. [Image] Let’s take a closer look at the accessory box. The box is made of plastic material. Personally, I think it would have been better if it were a metal accessory box like the G500s, which would have added more prestige to the flagship product. [Image] Opening the accessory box reveals the wireless receiver, removable mouse side keys, and side key bezel. [Image] The G900’s connector mouse terminal design is quite unique. The cable uses a Micro USB interface, and the cable itself is relatively soft, unlike the G700s cable. [Image] The wireless receiver can be connected without charging the mouse. [Image] Now let’s talk about the design details: Do you think the functional area behind the G900’s scroll wheel looks like a fly head? [Image] The G900 still retains the G series design elements, giving it a sleek, sportscar-like aesthetic. This time, the G900 uses a symmetrical design, which is also my first experience with a symmetrical mouse design. [Image] Previously, I used a right-handed ergonomic mouse. [Image] The right side of the G900 mouse comes with the default right key bezel cover. [Image] There are only two button designs on the left side, unlike the four buttons on the previous G700s, making it a bit more minimalist but less convenient for MMO gamers. [Image] The G900 is designed for both left and right-handed users. If you’re used to using your left hand, you can easily swap the side keys without any tools due to the magnetic design. [Image] This is how it looks from above. [Image] From this angle, the front face looks very techy and sharp. [Image] Compared to the streamlined tail design of the G502, the G900 feels fuller and more robust. [Image] The left and right side skirts feature a linear groove anti-slip design. The left and right main buttons use Logitech’s Black Technology mechanical structure. This design uses the roots of the left and right buttons as support points, with the main button exposed at the front and the counterweight lever and preload spring hidden in the mouse’s rear. Before pressing, the spring provides a little pre-power to press the micro-switch. This design not only avoids an empty key stroke but also prevents the finger from sticking to the button, improving the feel during use. [Image] At the bottom of the G900, six irregular Teflon pads are designed to increase the bottom friction surface for a smoother glide. The G502 also has a similar design. The function area from left to right includes: configuration switch button, power switch button, and engine light hole. [Image] The smaller parts of the chassis use a piano paint finish, which increases flexibility in use. [Image] The G900 wheel and the three function buttons include a square button for adjusting the roller mode (damping scale and non-damped shuttle), and two triangular buttons with + and - symbols, which default to the DPI increment/decrement adjustment key. [Image] The G900 uses a Micro-Gear metal wheel, and you can clearly see the hollow design in the middle. This design not only reduces the weight of the mouse but also maintains the feel. [Image] Experience: The size of the G900 is 130 x 67 x 40mm, making it a larger mouse in terms of volume. [Image] Compared to the 502 alone, I prefer the right-handed ergonomic mouse on both sides of the hand. The G900 requires some getting used to, but it offers a more unobstructed feel compared to the G900 Wireless. [Image] My personal hand length is 18.5cm, and using the G900 feels more like holding a hand. [Image] Turn it over, and the size becomes more intuitive. The G900’s symmetrical design means that even with the ring finger and little finger on the side skirts, there’s no fatigue during long grips. [Image] In the past few days, I’ve used it for about 8 hours per day, and it lasts around three days on a single charge. When the G900 mouse is left unused for a while, it automatically enters standby mode to reduce power consumption. [Image] When the mouse is not powered, it can be charged via a connection cable and used as a wired mouse. My USB interface is plugged into a USB3.0 port. It takes about two and a half hours to fully charge the G900 from 3%. The dual-mode design of the G900 is still great. [Image] Driving experience: Logitech’s peripheral driver management software is still user-friendly. The homepage allows you to choose where to save the configuration file: the mouse or the computer. [Image] The settings interface provides five customizable configuration files. The G900 has a total of 11 buttons that can be customized. Since I don’t use the right two buttons, they remain inactive. If needed, friends can choose to activate them. DPI adjustment can be set up to 5 levels, and the USB report rate can be freely selected from 125~1000Hz. [Image] The power display interface includes a battery-like icon to show real-time power information, along with power consumption distribution: system, USB report rate, and lighting. You can see the power consumption situation. [Image] The software-driven surface debugging interface has preset configurations for various material surfaces. Since I use a 1030 resin mousepad, I deliberately adjusted it. If I replaced it with a cloth pad and didn’t retest, the mouse wouldn’t work properly. This function is quite practical, allowing for better debugging results and a better user experience. [Image] The lighting debugging interface allows for synchronized lighting effects with other Logitech G-series devices, supporting 1680 million colors. To improve battery life, I usually keep the LOGO light off. [Image] The button heatmap I personally don’t find very practical, just a numerical reference. [Image] Software testing: 1000Hz Return Rate Test Results [Image] MOUSE TEST software wreath test, I often use 2000DPI [Image] 900DPI [Image] Game experience: Over the past few days, playing a few games of League of Legends, the overall operation of the G900 has been excellent. The weight of over 100 grams makes it easy to play the game, and the keystroke process is very clear. The positioning is precise and the response is rapid. [Image] Final Summary: Advantages: Powerful while maintaining a 107g weight Adopts PMW3366 top optical engine Wireless mode 1ms response time Symmetrical design, suitable for both hands Fine sanding process improves feel and dirt resistance Disadvantages: The function control button area has a large gap, making it prone to dust accumulation The battery capacity is small; current battery technology could improve capacity After trying out the Logitech G900, I’m very satisfied with its use. Its powerful features and stylish design make it a great gaming mouse. It’s also suitable for office use, though the office remains the preferred field for Logitech. If you’re interested in wireless charging technology, the Powerplay wireless charging mousepad, and the G903 and G703 wireless mice, you might want to wait until the fourth quarter when they’ll be released, though the price may be a bit higher. Early adopters always pay a premium. Thanks for reading!

Aluminum Solar Cable

Aluminum core Solar Cable is a photovoltaic circuit using aluminum as a conductive material. It is widely used in solar power generation systems to transport the electricity generated by solar panels.

Compared with traditional copper solar cable, aluminum solar cable has some obvious advantages, the most important of which is low cost.

1. Low price: Aluminum is a common metal, and its price is cheaper than that of copper. Therefore, the use of aluminum solar cable can reduce the cost of the system and make the entire photovoltaic power generation project more economical.

2. Lightweight: Aluminum has a lower density and is lighter than copper. The aluminum core optical cable can reduce the weight of the cable and facilitate installation and maintenance.

3. Strong corrosion resistance: Aluminum has good corrosion resistance and can maintain a long service life under harsh environmental conditions. This makes the aluminum solar cable more reliable for outdoor use.

4. Excellent conductivity: although the conductivity of copper is higher than that of aluminum, the aluminum solar cable can make up for the shortcomings of the low conductivity of aluminum to a certain extent by optimizing the design and process and ensure the efficiency and stability of power transmission.

It should be noted that there are also some limitations and precautions for aluminum solar cable. Due to the low conductivity of aluminum, the resistance of the aluminum solar cable will be relatively high, so it is necessary to choose the wire diameter and length reasonably when designing and installing to ensure the efficiency of power transmission. In addition, aluminum is prone to electrochemical reactions when it comes into contact with copper, so corresponding measures need to be taken when connecting aluminum solar cable and other components, such as using special connectors or coating protective layers.

In general, aluminum solar cable with its low cost, corrosion resistance, light and other advantages, has been widely used in solar power generation systems, and brings economic and reliability benefits to photovoltaic power generation projects.
