A showdown between Xiaomi Note 2, Meizu's folding screen patent exposure, and domestic mobile phone began to enter the era of Qu Ping?

Previously, spy photos and videos of Xiaomi's new machine's flexible screen were madly transmitted by social media, and netizens were full of speculation about the upcoming Note 2 new product launch. Today, Xiaomi officially announced that it will hold the "Mille Note 2 Hyperboloid Conference" in Beijing on October 25th, which is a response to previous rumors about flexible screens. As a rival of Xiaomi Company, Meizu cannot naturally lag behind in flexible displays.

Recently, a patent application for a Meizu foldable display was exposed by netizens.

The patent was applied by Meizu Corporation on August 4 of this year with the application number of .2 and the patent name was “Flexible Display Device”. From the description and screenshots, this patent is a folding display device, similar to a mobile phone case, the external packaged by a flexible display, can be folded display. At present, the patent has been applied for and I do not know how the future will appear in Meizu's products.

For a long time, due to the high homogeneity of the mobile phone industry, the appearance of the products of various manufacturers is similar, which makes the users full of expectations for flexible screen products. Currently, in addition to Samsung and LG abroad, Vivo Xplay 5, the first curved screen mobile phone in China, has been released in March. Counting upcoming Mi Note 2, Meizu also seems to be making efforts on curved mobile phones. It can be predicted that in the coming period, some domestically produced curved screen mobile phones will be released one after another. Let us wait and see.
