Millet 5S and 5S PLUS ads are still not celebrity endorsement, previously Xiaomi advertising main content is fast, now with the selling point of taking pictures. The two bright spots on this phone are the 821 CPU and dual cameras.

The fingerprint module is on the back and is in the same line with the dual cameras. The disadvantages are very obvious. My misuse rate is 10% (my finger is not flexible?). I often press my finger on the camera and touch the camera. There are many fingerprints. Although it is not 5S ultrasonic fingerprinting technology, but the fingerprint recognition efficiency is still very high and fast, click on the second is open, may be the advantage of the fingerprint module in the back. The only card slot in the camera body supports dual Nano SIM cards and no longer supports MicroSD. It can only rely on the internal space of the camera. Millet provides only about 5G of cloud space, so photo videos are regularly deleted and backed up.
5S PLUS infrared still exists, did not give up. Before using the remote control, it must be adapted first. It cannot be used by the remote controlled product series, but only some basic functions.

Before I said that Redmi Note4 GPS anti-interference ability is very strong, millet 5 no signal, red rice Note4 is still full of signal. I continue to contrast the high interference situation, millet 5S PLUS GPS anti-jamming capability is still very good, the signal is full of grid, and sometimes stronger than the red rice Note4, praise!
Millet also said that UFS2.0 is the main advantage, I continue to try to copy into a 17.6G file. Sure enough, it took 10 minutes. If you use a USB 3.0 cable, you should speed up.
Using the 3.0 OTG adapter to copy a 1.72G file to the phone, it took 80 seconds.
Using the millet account, the information of the old Xiaomi mobile phone is automatically copied to the new Xiaomi mobile phone, including the address book, SMS, APP, photo, alarm clock, and APP desktop arrangement. Of course, the content of the APP account needs to be logged in again.
I can't see any obvious advertising on the system. The system comes with push and I turn it off. See other brands Andrews machine desktop has a step plug-in, grab red channel, I think millet can refer to. However, millet's boot load time is a bit long, so nothing to restart, it will take 40 to 60 seconds to restart.
The front camera of the millet has been reduced to 4 million pixels to increase the light-sensitive area per unit, which is 2 μm per day. It seems to be very powerful. The actual effect was very good. I took it very well and the background was blurred. It may be that the lens has a fixed depth of field and the focus falls on the self-portrait.
It may be that the actual depth of effect of the red rice Pro-size camera is not ideal. Xiaomi 5S PLUS adopts a new model of Sony color + black and white dual camera, the advantages are obvious, and the disadvantages are obvious. Sony uses its own COMS chip, and the effect of photo optimization is not as good as some brands, because image processing is still a key factor. BUT millet's dual camera does not seem to have a single camera effect......................
Millet 5S PLUS camera options, support for RAW, manual mode. The manual mode supports shutter adjustment and red peak focus, but the dual camera mode does not support RAW and manual modes.
There is a small button on the normal shooting interface that can be activated to dual camera mode. In dual camera mode, the photo processing storage time is a bit long and cannot be taken continuously, and the shutter time lag is longer. The effect of dual camera is somewhat similar to HDR, but there are no traces of HDR profile processing, the details are indeed a lot more, and the contrast is not high. If not for details, dual camera mode is not recommended. (If you want a dual camera, I prefer two different focal lengths, so there are different viewing angle options).
The figure on the left seems very natural. The figure on the right is not white, but the sky is awkward. A closer look at the bank's LOGO and name is particularly clear.
