Yesterday, the Guangdong Provincial Consumer Council and the Foshan Municipal Consumer Council released a comparison test of LED series products. Among the 40 samples of the four series of small bulbs, downlights, ceiling lamps and table lamps of the LED series purchased randomly, they are in line with the relevant national conditions in 31 projects such as “structureâ€, “anti-shock protection†and “blue light hazardâ€. There are only 17 standard products, and the compliance rate is only 42.5%. Among them, the LED downlight pass rate is only 20%.
The Guangdong Provincial Consumer Council reminded that LED downlights, ceiling lamps and table lamps are national CCC compulsory certification products. When consumers purchase, they should pay attention to whether the product packaging has a corresponding CCC certification mark and energy efficiency label. When selecting LED lighting products, check whether the product packaging is complete, whether the label is neat, and whether the manual is detailed. In order to achieve a more comfortable lighting effect, LED bulbs and lamps used in homes should be selected from LED products with a color temperature of less than 5000K and a color rendering index of 80 or more.
LED table lamps are more demanding, and products with 4000K or below and color rendering index of 82 or higher should be selected. It should be noted that the blue component of the LED chip is relatively high, which will have a greater impact on the retina. When choosing LED lighting products for children, it is best to choose products with no hazard level. This information can be found on the product packaging.
