Android phone will account for nearly 60% of WP breakthroughs in 2012

DIGITIMES Research estimates that Android mobile phone shipments in 2012 will still grow significantly compared to 2011, reaching 386 million, which will increase the market share of the Android platform to 57.6%.

Though Apple's iPhone shipments will grow to 121 million units, its rate will be at the same level as the overall smartphone market, with iOS City slightly falling to 18.1%.
