According to relevant agency forecasts, China's 2015 electric vehicle application scale will reach 500,000 vehicles. The State Grid will build 2351 power stations in the 12th Five-Year Plan period, charging 220,000 charging stations, and initially build an intelligent charging and replacement service network covering the company's business areas.

New acceptance of wind power 20 million kW

According to State Grid, in 2011, the smart grid will receive about 20 million kW of wind power, and the wind power capacity in the operating area will reach 50 million kW. By 2015, it will basically build a strong smart grid. The degree of intelligence of the national grid will reach the international advanced level, achieving the goal of connecting 100 million kW of wind power and 5 million kW of photovoltaic power generation.

As of the end of 2010, the State Grid Corporation invested a total of 41.8 billion yuan, completed 23,200 kilometers of wind-connected wind power lines, and installed 28.26 million kW of wind-powered grid-connected power in the operating areas, accounting for 4.2% of the total power consumption of the entire network. Completion of the Construction of 25 Intelligent Residential Areas In recent years, China has continuously filled domestic gaps in the development of key substation equipment and technical standard systems for smart substations and reached the international advanced level. At present, the State Grid has formulated 15 smart substation standards and formed the world's first series of technical standards for smart substations. Applied for 126 patents. China has built 8 smart substations such as 750kV in Yan'an and 220kV in West China in Xi'an, becoming the backbone of technological development leading the world.

Smart electricity is also an important part of a strong smart grid. According to State Grid, 25 smart communities/buildings will be completed in 2011.
