From January to October in 2011, the total social power consumption in Hunan increased 8.6%

From January to October, the total electricity consumption in Hunan Province was 105.772 billion kwh, which was a year-on-year increase of 8.6%, which was 0.5 percentage point lower than the increase from January to September. Among them, the monthly electricity consumption in October was 1.003 billion kwh, an increase of 3.4% year-on-year. The primary industry's electricity consumption was 8.163 billion kwh, which was a year-on-year increase of 1.2%. The electricity consumption for the month was 758 million kWh, a year-on-year increase of 9.8%. The second industry's electricity consumption was 66.287 billion kWh, an increase of 7.4% year-on-year; the current month's electricity consumption was 6.528 billion kWh, a year-on-year increase of 2.5%. Among them, industrial electricity consumption was 65.2 billion kWh, an increase of 7.1% year-on-year, 0.5 percentage points lower than the increase in January-September, and electricity consumption of the month was 6.424 billion kWh, an increase of 2.4% year-on-year. The electricity consumption of the tertiary industry was 11.903 billion kwh, an increase of 17.4% year-on-year, which was higher than the growth rate of electricity consumption of the entire society by 8.8 percentage points. The monthly electricity consumption was 1.061 billion kWh, an increase of 2.7% year-on-year. The electricity consumption of urban and rural residents was 19.42 billion kWh, an increase of 11% year-on-year. Among them, the electricity consumption of urban residents was 10.715 billion kwh, an increase of 3.1% year-on-year; the rural residents' electricity consumption was 8.705 billion kwh, an increase of 22.4% year-on-year, which was higher than the 13.8% growth of electricity consumption of the entire society.
