The new generation of TALEXengine STARK NEW DLE lighting engine has not only improved the efficiency from 77 lm/W to 140 lm/W, but also the LED downlight module in the system has an ultra-thin appearance height of only 20mm. The diameter of the light-emitting surface is enlarged to 65 mm, which reduces the light intensity, thereby reducing the glare of the downlight. Therefore, the system can achieve a lower UGR value (UGR = Uniform Glare Index), which significantly improves the quality of the lighting.

Tridonic's new generation TALEXXengine STARK NEW DLE lighting engine is more efficient, more compact and greatly reduces glare. The system consists of an LED module and matched drivers, with state-of-the-art LED technology to make the module more efficient, more economical, and ultra-low height.

In addition, the “Best LED Operating Mode (BLO)” ensures that the system always maintains the best balance between efficiency, service life and cost. The color rendering index (CRI) is greater than 80 and meets the MacAdam 3 standard. The color tolerance is extremely small, which means that the LED module can achieve very high quality illumination. The chromatic aberration is almost imperceptible, so white light has an extremely uniform appearance. The system provides white light at 3000K and 4000K standard color temperatures.

The light-emitting surface of the LED module now has a larger diameter of 65 mm. This reduces the light intensity, making it easier to reduce glare in luminaires and lighting systems. The system can achieve lower UGR values, thus opening up new applications and meeting higher lighting quality requirements. This includes computer workstations, conference rooms, schools, and other educational facilities. At the same time, the module height is reduced by 50%, and now the height is only 20mm. This gives luminaire designers greater creative freedom, especially for compact lighting solutions.

TALEXXconverterECO (1%-100% dimming range) and TALEXXconverter TOP (non-dimming) 25W and 35W drivers are perfectly matched to LED modules and are available in both built-in and stand-alone versions. When the LED module is connected to the drive, the specifications will be output. Even if the color temperature is changed, the luminous flux remains the same. Different luminous flux configurations (1,100 lm, 2,000 lm, 3,000 lm) are available to ensure simple, accurate lighting planning throughout the life of the lighting engine for up to 50,000 hours.

Like other new products from Tridonic, this system is compatible with the previous generation of modules in the application and is therefore a wise investment.
