These advanced components support constant voltage (CV), constant current (CC), and constant power (CP) output modes, delivering up to 65 W of power with an impressive efficiency of 94% across a wide range of input voltages and load conditions. The device enables precise dynamic control of output voltage and current through a simple two-wire I2C interface, offering a voltage step size of 10 mV and a current step size of 50 mA. The InnoSwitch3-Pro is designed to support a broad array of fast-charge protocols, including USB Power Delivery (PD) 3.0 + PPS, Quick Charge 4/4+, AFC, VOOC, SCP, FCP, and more. One of the standout features of the InnoSwitch3-Pro is its integration of a microprocessor VCC supply, eliminating the need for an external LDO to power the microcontroller. It also includes an n-channel MOSFET driver that can control the main power output. Additionally, the IC incorporates telemetry capabilities for monitoring bus voltage, current, and fault reporting, along with customizable protection functions like over-temperature, input/output overvoltage/undervoltage, and short-circuit protection. This significantly reduces BOM count and simplifies power supply design.

Built on Power Integrations’ high-speed digital communication technology, FluxLink™, the InnoSwitch3-Pro supports synchronous rectification, quasi-resonant switching, and accurate secondary-side feedback control. The device is certified by CQC, UL, and TUV (EN60950), and features the InSOP® 24D package, which offers excellent thermal performance and safety. With a creepage distance of over 11.5 mm, it ensures higher reliability, surge immunity, and ESD protection.
